Moving In

I just moved into my own house earlier this month.

Owning a house has been my dream since 5 years ago. I am grateful to have a fitting house in a convenient location near MRT Lebak Bulus. I am grateful to have BCA’s approval for KPR, moreover with special rates during BCA birthday promotion program. I am grateful to my friends who supported me throughout the process of searching until house setting up.

The house has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which means it’s slightly too big for me currently living alone, but it will be sufficient when I have a family with 1 child. It also has a small indoor garden.

The moving in process was quite rushed. The transaction took place on April 22nd. On April 24th I and my friend bought essentials from dust cloth until water heater, surprisingly it took a whole day. Thankfully the house is semi furnished, the previous owner left the bed, kitchen set, sofa, and some other furniture. On April 30th I packed my things from the boarding house to the house, then cleaned the house for the first time. It was super dirty since it has never been inhabited.

My first night was on April 30th. I could not sleep for sure, I still felt uncomfortable with the house and the heat since there was no AC. I slept at 12 and woke up at 3. I suffered several sleepless nights.

One of the main reasons I’m excited to live in my own house is that I can determine this house system. Where to put things, how to do something, etc.
